Chief Training Officer
John Clayton (Ret.)

Dear Recruit,

Fire departments all over the world are seeking qualified people to join their team of heroes, to take the challenge and make a difference. There's nothing more rewarding than helping people and making your community a safer place. Firefighters receive excellent compensation and benefits, flexible schedules and a generous pension.

If you're like most people, you have wondered how you too can join the force. Many applicants compete for the same job, but only a select few have what it takes to even “get their foot in the door”. I know how frustrating this process can be.

Now, imagine if you had the opportunity to sit on the hiring panels, learning the secrets of those who interview and test well. This is what I did as a training officer, and this is what I want to share with you.

Best Regards,

John Clayton, Chief Training Officer (Ret.)
